This policy covers Backbone Drum School and Backbone Drum Store ("we", "us"), including lessons, enrolments and store purchases.

 

What we collect

• Students and families: student and parent or guardian names, contact details, student age, lesson details, attendance and billing information.

• Store customers: name, email, phone number, delivery address and order history.

• Everyone: any messages or enquiries you send us.

 

Students under 18
For students under 18, we collect information from and communicate with a parent or guardian.

 

Payments
Store payments are processed securely by our payment providers through Wix. We never see or store your full card details. Lesson invoices are managed through our accounting software.

 

How we use it
We use your information to deliver lessons, manage enrolments and scheduling, invoice and process payments, fulfil and deliver orders, respond to enquiries, and meet our legal obligations. We'll only send marketing emails if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

 

Photos and videos
We only post photos or videos of students on our website or social media with permission from the student, or from a parent or guardian for students under 18. You can withdraw permission at any time.

 

Who we share it with
We share information only with the providers we need to run the business: our website and store platform (Wix), our accounting software (Xero), our email and file storage providers (Google), and Australia Post for deliveries. We never sell your information.

 

Storage and security
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure. Some of our providers may store data on servers outside Australia.

 

Cookies
Our website uses cookies to make the site and checkout work and to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
